A Lifetime of Exploration
Adrian Beckingham has dedicated four decades to travelling through indigenous tribal communities, meticulously gathering their ancient faith stories, creation tales, folklore and oral histories . Best known for his spoken-word presentations at schools, colleges, museums and festivals - along with his best selling anthology of creation myths from indigenous tribes 'Stories That Crafted The Earth' - he plans to launch in 2026 a new series of oral and written journals. Together, these promise to offer a rare glimpse into how indigenous tribal narratives actively shape everyday life, from understandings of human conception, death, and rebirth, to systems of belonging, cultural and personal identity, holistic healing, and beyond.
ANCIENT LESSONS ENRICH CONTEMPORARY LIVES
Together, these offer a rare glimpse into how indigenous tribal narratives, passed down across generations for millennia, actively shape everyday life. Far from being detached stories from a distant place or time, these living teachings speak directly to the modern world, offering people in so-called developed societies a way to reassess identity, belonging, healing, and selfhood, and to gently loosen the fractured web of contemporary misinformation and misdirected technologies that so often obscure our deeper human wisdom.

More Than Just Travel Writing
These aren't your typical travel journals. Adrian's work is driven by a deep respect for indigenous cultures and a commitment to sharing their stories with the world. He has witnessed and participated in how these stories impact daily lives, offering profound insights.
